ANANDA is looking for an experienced Construction Worker and Skilled Labourer to join its team and play an important role in a range of construction projects. The position involves a variety of construction duties, including masonry, formwork, concrete work, and applying masonry finishes.

The successful candidate will support construction projects by carrying out skilled and general construction duties on-site. You will work with different construction materials, follow project plans and procedures, and maintain a strong focus on safety and quality throughout the work.
About Your New Role
- Carry out masonry work, including laying bricks, blocks, and stone.
- Use masonry tools and mortar correctly.
- Read and understand construction plans and drawings.
- Follow construction procedures and complete work efficiently.
- Install and remove formwork systems for concrete structures.
- Pour, compact, and finish concrete according to project specifications.
- Apply masonry finishes such as plaster, render, and other coatings.
- Work safely with construction tools and equipment.
- Follow workplace safety procedures, including safe working at heights.
- Handle and work with construction materials such as bricks, blocks, cement, sand, and gravel.
- Work as part of a team to complete construction projects successfully.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in construction or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of masonry and general construction work.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Experience with formwork and concrete work is an advantage.
- Knowledge of construction materials and their uses.
- Ability to apply masonry finishes and coatings.
- Strong understanding of construction health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work safely with tools and at heights.
- Reliable, hardworking, and committed to completing work to a high standard.
- Willingness to continue developing construction skills through ongoing training.
