A manufacturing company is looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Support Worker to assist production operators with daily operations. The role involves production support, cleaning and housekeeping, inspection, material handling, and maintaining workplace safety and hygiene standards.

About the job

The Production Support Worker will assist operators and supervisors in keeping production activities running smoothly. The successful candidate will help prepare machines, maintain clean work areas, handle materials, and follow company procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

About Your New Role

• Assist production operators during machine operations by providing tools, materials, and general support.
• Help clean and prepare machines before and after production runs.
• Support basic changeover activities to maintain efficient production.
• Keep floors, workstations, equipment, and production areas clean and organized.
• Dispose of waste materials correctly and maintain hygiene standards.
• Sanitize tools and equipment to help prevent contamination.
• Inspect production areas and machines for cleanliness and readiness.
• Report damaged equipment, irregularities, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Ensure materials and components are correctly placed and organized.
• Work closely with operators and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
• Follow company policies, safety requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support the team during busy production periods and perform additional duties when required.

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in production or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of production processes and equipment handling.
• Ability to perform cleaning, material handling, and general support duties.
• Knowledge of hygiene standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is preferred.
• Ability to perform moderate lifting and physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety and cleanliness.
